Fare sheet, counted in road miles
Reserve by mileage band: airport car service rates across Salt Lake County
Every figure on this sheet prices one ride between a corner of the valley and Salt Lake City International Airport, by the road miles from that corner to the terminal, Terminal Drive included. These are airport car service rates across Salt Lake County, laid out in six bands for a sedan and an SUV, always per car and each way. Treat them as starting figures. The price you rely on is the one the local car company writes for your own address, and it becomes a fixed rate once you say yes and the company confirms the ride.

Each figure is a starting price for one car, one way. On top of it, the car company's written fare can add waiting beyond its stated time, garage parking for a meeting inside, extra stops, and a gratuity it leaves out.
Counted in the starting price
- One car, sedan or SUV, between your corner and the terminal, in one direction.
- Every rider the car seats: three at most in a sedan, six in an SUV.
- Set-down or pickup on the commercial lane at ground level in front of the terminal.
- Waiting up to the time that the written fare from the company names.
Added only if it happens
- Waiting that runs past the time named in the written fare.
- Garage parking when the driver parks to meet at terminal baggage claim.
- Extra stops on the way to the terminal or on the way home.
- A gratuity, whenever the written fare does not already include one.
Six bands between 8 and 25 road miles
Your grid address tells the office where you are; the band comes from the road. Rose Park sits closest to the airport in a straight line, yet its road loops around the rail yards by I-15, so it measures 7.5 road miles, more than Glendale at 6.5. Grid numbers are not miles either: in central Salt Lake City, UT roughly 685 to 700 of them add up to one.
Each corner in the table carries its band, its main road and the minutes it took at a quiet hour with no traffic, so leave room for traffic on I-15 between 2100 South and 7200 South at busy hours. The bands and their starting figures, per car, each way:
- Up to 8 road miles: sedan from $90, SUV from $120.
- Up to 11 road miles: sedan from $100, SUV from $130.
- Up to 14 road miles: sedan from $110, SUV from $145.
- Up to 17 road miles: sedan from $120, SUV from $160.
- Up to 20 road miles: sedan from $125, SUV from $165.
- Up to 25 road miles: sedan from $140, SUV from $185.
Priced for the whole car, one direction
A figure covers the car, whoever rides in it. One rider or three in a sedan starts from the same number, and so do one to six riders in an SUV. A sedan holds three at most. For a group of six, or for a heap of checked luggage, ask for the SUV airport transfer in Salt Lake County for up to six people and say how many bags are coming.
Each way means one direction. A sedan from Sugar House to the terminal starts from $110, and the ride home after you land starts from $110 again, so out and back begins at $220 before anything the written fare adds. The two directions can differ in length, Rose Park by more than a mile, yet every corner on the sheet keeps its band both ways.
From a written fare to a fixed rate
The office asks one local car company that serves your corner for its written fare. That free quote costs nothing and holds you to nothing. When you say yes, the office passes your answer back, and once the company confirms the ride in writing, its fare becomes a fixed rate for that ride. Nothing is held for you before that point. You pay the company directly; the office takes no payment and asks for no card.
Anything above the band appears in the written fare by name: waiting past the time it states, garage parking when the driver meets you inside, extra stops, and a gratuity it does not already include. When the numbers suit you, book a private airport transfer to SLC with your corner, your flight number and your pickup time.
Taylorsville and Kearns, both on 5400 South
Taylorsville at 5400 South and 2700 West and Kearns at 5400 South and 5200 West share a street, and both reach the airport by 5400 South and Bangerter Highway. On the grid they stand about 2,600 numbers apart. On the road the gap shrinks: Taylorsville measured 10.6 miles to the terminal, 17 minutes at a quiet hour, and Kearns 11.2 miles, 19 minutes.
Those six tenths of a mile cross the line at 11. Taylorsville stays in the up to 11 band, a sedan from $100 and an SUV from $130. Kearns falls into the up to 14 band, a sedan from $110 and an SUV from $145. A family of five in Kearns would ask for the SUV and start from $145 going out and $145 coming home, with the final number set in the company's written fare.
